1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RoleModel (the "App"), you affirm that you are at least 18 years old, or, if you are not, that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the App. If you do not meet these requirements, you must not access or use the App.

2. Description of Services

The App provides a variety of tools and resources to help job seekers prepare for their interviews. These include, but are not limited to, AI-generated research on the company, role and interviewer, live mock interviews, interview debriefs and career coaching. Many of the services are powered by Large Language Models (a.k.a. "AI") and can be unpredictable and non-deterministic in their behavior and response.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password, and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the App by any third party. Prohibited behavior includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any other user, transmitting obscene or offensive content, or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within the App.

5. Intellectual Property

All content included on the App, such as text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Candidus LLC or its content suppliers and protected by United States and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use of any content may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.

6. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is available in the Privacy tab of this screen.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

7.1 Free Trial / Credits

Users may be able to sign up for free and try out certain services provided by the App. Access to AI services and other premium features may be limited by a credit system or budget.

7.2 Credits and Purchases

Once the user has consumed their available credits, certain services (e.g., Live Interviews, AI usage) will no longer be available unless the user purchases additional credits. Pricing and available packages will be displayed on the purchase page within the App.

7.3 Billing

Fees for credit purchases will be charged at the time of purchase through the App's payment provider (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store).

7.4 Refunds

Refunds are generally not provided for unused credits, except as required by applicable law or the policies of the platform through which you made the purchase (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store).

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Candidus LLC, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, or licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use or inability to use the App; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (iii) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the App; (iv) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our App by any third party; (v) any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the App; and/or (vi) the defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Candidus LLC makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the App or the information, content, materials, or products included on the App. You expressly agree that your use of the App is at your sole risk. The App utilizes artificial intelligence, including but not limited to Google's Gemini Large Language Model, to provide certain services and suggestions. While we strive to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the advice and suggestions provided by the AI, we make no guarantees regarding their correctness, completeness, or suitability for any specific purpose. The AI-generated content should not be taken at face value and should be independently verified by you. We disclaim any liability for any actions taken based on the AI-generated content.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Candidus LLC, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, or licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the App or any service to which it connects, with or without notice and without liability to you.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
